You can now buy the full graphic novel of Perils Ahead from my store. I will also have these for sale at conventions. This year I will be tabling at Awesome Con in Washington D.C. June 16, 17 and 18 and also at Baltimore Comic Con in September.
Thank you everyone for reading Perils Ahead, I really hope you've been enjoying it as the story winds down here. I've already started working on my next comic as well as the story for the Perils Ahead sequel! Follow me on social media to see updates about that.
I realize I haven't written a single blog post since I launch Perils Ahead and I've felt pretty guilty about that. I thought the launching of the store was a good time to start.
Recently we attended our first convention, Awesome-Con in Washington DC. I was ridiculously nervous leading up to it, as I expected, but I ended up loving every minute of it. I did not expect to feel so at home being there at our table. Having my wife with me the whole time definitely helped. I loved hanging out with her all weekend surrounded by comic culture.
Also being there to share Perils Ahead with people made it all the more fun. I'm really enjoying making this comic and I'm very proud of it. I want as many people as possible to find it and read it. I was grateful for everyone who was intrigued by what they saw and stopped at our table to browse or even buy a comic. We even had a fan come up who had been reading our comic before hand. They had some very nice things to say and I apologize I did not get your name, but thank you, you made our day!
We were selling mini comics and prints at the convention. Both of which are now available in our store (link at the top of the site). The mini comic has the first 16 pages of Perils Ahead in it. We will be selling these again at the Baltimore Comic Con in September so come see us there if you are attending.
Hello everyone. This is my new comic, Perils Ahead! I've wanted to do my own fantasy comic for a while. My wife and I have been working out the details together. It's a story about a troll named Neil. He is the lowliest dweller of a dungeon inhabited by many creatures and run by a shadowy monster.
The dungeon is routinely raided by adventurers looking for treasures. Neil's job is to clean up after the other monsters take care of them. He is content with his position, but after meeting one particular adventurer he starts to question the way he is treated.
I've posted the first four pages to start it off. I hope you enjoy! Let me know what you think in comments.
